Hannah Montana

FINALLY! No, I'm not a fan. But I'm a fan of her site! Designed by yours truly, it has finally launched. The official Disney Hannah Montana website - dedicated to anything and everything Hannah Montana.

I worked on this project AFTER leaving Disney full time. I freelanced with their vendor of choice and got to work with other ex-Disney folks, so it was a great gig. Disney work, Disney brands, minus the Disney politics, at least on my end!

So please give Hannah some love and browse around, click through and enjoy the best of both worlds!

DJ ORBIT

DJ Orbit aka Darren, recently launched his website djorbit.net! Designed by yours truly, it was great to work with Darren and Kelley (of Picture Perfect Events) again. It's fun to see a brother/sister duo in action.

djorbit.net explains Darren's philosophy and background, provides awesome mixes you can download, a gallery by Ja Tecson, and a contact form so you can reach out and book him for your next event!

Chapter One

Here's a recent invitation suite I did for a friend. Their wedding is going to be held in a library, so they wanted their invitations to reflect a similar theme. So we went with a book theme. The main invitation card was titled "Chapter One", and their reception card was appropriately titled "Epilogue", the response card was titled "Afterword" and the accommodations card was called "Appendix".

Simple, clean, elegant. Just like them.

Blossoms

Here's an invitation suite I did for my good friend's wedding. Her palette was a vibrant chartreuse and serious navy. She didn't have a theme, she didn't have any preferences. What a model client! We've known each other since the 1st grade, and it was an honor to be a part of her big day.

Custom Posters

I designed these custom posters for my friends and family over the holidays as gifts. I like the play on words. Every name and combination produces different results.

The first one was for the SUAREZ family, and there's just plenty of love there, so it worked out perfectly with their names. The second one is for my sis' family and their last name is LIWANAG which translates to "light". Again, it worked out perfectly. I really like these pieces and hope to do more soon.

Baby Shower

My sis has commissioned me to design our baby shower invites again. The photo above is a shot of what I did for our first baby shower back in 2007. So now I am thinking of a new twist to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our second little ham.

With all the fabulous carnival and circus themes out there, I'm thinking we'll want to go with a themed event this time. We'll see. Or maybe that's just an excuse for me to be able to use my new set of western fonts ;)

Whatever it is, it has to be awesome, considering our latest shindig made headlines everywhere.

A Different Take

Recently, I designed 2 modern kids invitations. (I mean, the invitations were modern, not the kids...well the kids could've been too!) One for a zoo party and one that didn't have a specific theme, so I put the focus on numbers. Maybe I'll use one of these as inspiration for any upcoming parties of our own. The spring palette is beckoning me to throw some sort of celebration. Hmmmm... But for now, I just wanted to share these. It's a different kids' invite! (I mean, the invitations are different, not the kids...but the kids can be different too!)

Library Card

Recently, I designed a Save the Date card for my friend's upcoming wedding that will be held at the beautiful, waterfront Redondo Beach Historic Library. So we modeled their card after a library book card insert.
Now if I can finally set a date to bring myself to renew my own library card!
