World's Largest Pool

Go BIG or go home! We should all live by that credo right? Well then this summer escape to Chile and stay at the San Alfonso Del Mar, where they house the world's largest pool! Plus, it's also the deepest! At over 1,000 yards long, covering more 20 acres, with an astounding 115-foot deep end, and holding 66 million gallons of water, this is truly one marvel not to be missed.

With a toddler in tow and another bun on the way, I don't think a trip to Chile is in our immediate future. But I'm definitely adding this to our list of must-do's!

Two things, I am sure of: 1)I'd hate to be the pool cleaner there! & 2) mr. Red needs to learn how to swim!

Beach House

For the long weekend, we escaped to beautiful Coronado, and rented a beachfront home. Here's a sneak peek at the very cool house, with Coronado Beach just steps down from the home's backyard, plus they also happened to have a fabulous pool. An awesome view of Downtown San Diego greeted us every time we looked outside, and we could see the sailboats and water activities all day and all night long! We'll post pics soon. Notice the owners have a porch swing hanging in their living room! There was also a hammock suspended inside as well. Laziness ensued.

A nice, relaxing long weekend.

Out N About Treesort

Thinkin about where to go for summer vacation? Well escape to the southwestern corner of Oregon and stay in a treehouse resort! Out 'n' About Treehouse Treesort offers 12 treehouses and one grounded cabin for visitors to stay in - it's a treehouse version of a hotel! Some of the treehouses have bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, and even dining tables. Some don't have bathrooms for those who opt to rough it, and some are just big enough for 2 for those who want a cozy getaway. Some of the treehouses have two stories, some have decks, and some are up to 35 feet off the ground!

Out 'n' About has a new giant zip line to complement its basic zip course, and Giant Tarzan Swing. You can go horseback riding and rafting. You can hike, bike, and swim in the river on the property.
