Dirt Poster

Genius! How much do I love this! The Dirt Poster is simply a work of art. The back side of the poster is covered with a layer of ink, which you need to smudge on to the front side the poster, to reveal the message that has been spot-varnished onto the paper.

The future belongs to the few of us still willing to get our hands dirty.

So get your hands dirty...

Green Birthday Parties

The April edition of L.A. Parent is out now and my article about Eco Friendly Kids Birthday Parties made the cover feature! So like the Pointer Sisters, minus their long legs, I'm so excited! I just can't hide it!

Pick one up now or you can read their digital version. L.A. Parent is an awesome resource for parents about kid-friendly events, arts, culture, products, and fun for the whole family.

For this particular article, I got to interview the ever popular and ever-green Tree Hugger, Discovery Health's own, Sara Snow. Plus I also feature my very own sis and friends in it, so read all about it!

You Go Girl!

Yes folks, times are tough, but as always, women are tougher! The New York Times recently published an article stating that eventually more women than men would be employed in the US. The reason is that, in more than 8 out of 10 layoffs, it's men who are getting the boot. That's because the steepest downturns have been in male-heavy sectors like construction.

Further, this phenomenon speculates that the pattern may further alter gender roles, forcing men to spend more time caregiving -- more stay-at-home dads? Hmmmm...
