Back Pack
A very cool backpack from Sweden, the Kanken is just calling my name. It comes in a variety of colors, and even in a mini size, for mini people like me!
I'm thinking of an excuse to get one, cause I'm not too sure I need a backpack right now, but I am sure I want it!
{Thanks to Jordan for the cool tip}

Chapter One
Here's a recent invitation suite I did for a friend. Their wedding is going to be held in a library, so they wanted their invitations to reflect a similar theme. So we went with a book theme. The main invitation card was titled "Chapter One", and their reception card was appropriately titled "Epilogue", the response card was titled "Afterword" and the accommodations card was called "Appendix".
Simple, clean, elegant. Just like them.

Paper Bag Flowers
Loving these very cool hanging flowers, made by paper bags! Brought to you by Martha Stewart, of course. Here are the step by step instructions on how to make em.
Now I only have to find the time to make em. But with a toddler in tow and another bun in the oven. Time isn't a luxury I have nowadays. But wouldn't recycled brown paper bags look awesome as flowers! Hmmmm. Everyone has those lying around right?
That Martha does think of everything. Or perhaps, I should say, her talented staff does! Another cool idea in the bag! Onto the next one...

Beach House
For the long weekend, we escaped to beautiful Coronado, and rented a beachfront home. Here's a sneak peek at the very cool house, with Coronado Beach just steps down from the home's backyard, plus they also happened to have a fabulous pool. An awesome view of Downtown San Diego greeted us every time we looked outside, and we could see the sailboats and water activities all day and all night long! We'll post pics soon. Notice the owners have a porch swing hanging in their living room! There was also a hammock suspended inside as well. Laziness ensued.
A nice, relaxing long weekend.

Twilight: New Moon
The OFFICIAL movie poster is here!!! (Me thinks there is major photoshop action going on cause we all know Taylor Lautner isn't that tall!) I can't wait for this to premiere. I'm booking my babysitter now!
Admittedly, I'm way late jumping on the Twilight bandwagon, but I've jumped on and am ready for the ride! I've been sucked in, and loving it! The hubby got me the DVD for Mother's Day and the 4 book series, and I've been addicted ever since. I finished all 4 books in just 4 days! (and that's with a toddler around! - a miracle right?)
If you haven't seen it, go rent it now! If you haven't read it, go read it now!
Team Edward all the way baby!

Blossoms
Here's an invitation suite I did for my good friend's wedding. Her palette was a vibrant chartreuse and serious navy. She didn't have a theme, she didn't have any preferences. What a model client! We've known each other since the 1st grade, and it was an honor to be a part of her big day.

Bake or Break
In my research on how to further spoil my boys, I stumbled upon this delicious blog, Bake or Break! All her recipes look and sound fabulous so I'm ready to start baking! Hopefully not breaking.
First item on my to-do list is her Raspberry Cream Cheese Buns. Yummmm. I bought all the ingredients yesterday, so I plan to get busy today.
Then it's on to another sweet item on her list.

Drink Dispensers
Drink Dispensers are my latest addiction. And I've got it bad. I can't make it through a store without snatching one of these and placing it in my cart! The hubby's wondering what we're going to do with my current collection! It seems as though everyone, from Walmart to Crate and Barrel, has their own version of these tempting beauties!
Since the budget is tight, I've only been able to splurge on the cheaper acrylic options from Target and Walmart, but they look just as fabulous. Perhaps eventually, I can get my hands on some glass ones!
I can't wait to put these to use at some parties! Very cool. (Literally)

Custom Posters
I designed these custom posters for my friends and family over the holidays as gifts. I like the play on words. Every name and combination produces different results.
The first one was for the SUAREZ family, and there's just plenty of love there, so it worked out perfectly with their names. The second one is for my sis' family and their last name is LIWANAG which translates to "light". Again, it worked out perfectly. I really like these pieces and hope to do more soon.

Chalk a Doodle Placemats
Having a hard time keeping lil ones or even big ones entertained at the table? Try Chalk-a-Doodle Placemats!
Now you know I love anything chalkboard, but I'm still not so sure how having chalk dust so close to the meal works. I foresee the dust getting everywhere including the fingers and food? But maybe that's just my OCD kicking in. Regardless, I still think it's very cool.
So use em as placemat placecards, or try a game of pictionary at the dinnertable! Whatever you do, your guests are sure to have some fun! Write on!
