Grass Charger
Now I know fake "anything" is dangerous territory, but in this case, I think the Grass Charging Valet is a cool exception. Recharge your devices in a modern patch of faux grass! Hide all the unsightly cords and mess while looking deceptively green.
No water or sunlight necessary!

Baby Shower
My sis has commissioned me to design our baby shower invites again. The photo above is a shot of what I did for our first baby shower back in 2007. So now I am thinking of a new twist to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our second little ham.
With all the fabulous carnival and circus themes out there, I'm thinking we'll want to go with a themed event this time. We'll see. Or maybe that's just an excuse for me to be able to use my new set of western fonts ;)
Whatever it is, it has to be awesome, considering our latest shindig made headlines everywhere.

Out N About Treesort
Thinkin about where to go for summer vacation? Well escape to the southwestern corner of Oregon and stay in a treehouse resort! Out 'n' About Treehouse Treesort offers 12 treehouses and one grounded cabin for visitors to stay in - it's a treehouse version of a hotel! Some of the treehouses have bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, and even dining tables. Some don't have bathrooms for those who opt to rough it, and some are just big enough for 2 for those who want a cozy getaway. Some of the treehouses have two stories, some have decks, and some are up to 35 feet off the ground!
Out 'n' About has a new giant zip line to complement its basic zip course, and Giant Tarzan Swing. You can go horseback riding and rafting. You can hike, bike, and swim in the river on the property.
So this summer, take camping to a whole new level (literally) and stay in a Treesort!

Chocolate Sushi
What's better than sushi? Chocolate Sushi, of course! They've taken dessert gifting and catering to a whole new sweet level! Chocolate Sushi is available in either assorted boxes or for dessert services for your next event.
Since I'm baking another bun in the oven, I'm steering clear of sushi and chocolate, but a gal can dream can't she? As soon as September hits, I'll be getting my hands on one..or some!

A Different Take
Recently, I designed 2 modern kids invitations. (I mean, the invitations were modern, not the kids...well the kids could've been too!) One for a zoo party and one that didn't have a specific theme, so I put the focus on numbers. Maybe I'll use one of these as inspiration for any upcoming parties of our own. The spring palette is beckoning me to throw some sort of celebration. Hmmmm... But for now, I just wanted to share these. It's a different kids' invite! (I mean, the invitations are different, not the kids...but the kids can be different too!)

Book of Secrets
Shhhhh! So those who know me, know I have one goal in life, and that is to obtain TOP SECRET level government clearance. And this little, and I mean little book gets me one step closer to that goal.
The Book of Secrets reveals hundreds of clandestine, covert, surreptitious, furtive, hush-hush, and taboo pop-cultural and historical curiosities, from government cover-ups to marketing tricks to Colonel Sander's secret recipe.
So get your hands on one now, before the secret gets out.
This post will not self destruct in 5 seconds.

Library Card
Recently, I designed a Save the Date card for my friend's upcoming wedding that will be held at the beautiful, waterfront Redondo Beach Historic Library. So we modeled their card after a library book card insert.
Now if I can finally set a date to bring myself to renew my own library card!

De Colores
From one party to the next...Oh yes, the controversial 2nd baby shower. My sis and family insist on throwing us one, so who are we to argue with such generosity? Everyone in my family seems to have gotten the medical gene, since they all ended up in the medical field in some way or other, which is why they leave anything creative up to me. So I'm already thinking of some festive themes for the event and found these fabulous paper banners by Ay Mujer!
